To get the show on the road, for this new blog, here is the latest Avantix Traveller NFM 02 (National Fares Manual 02).
This is valid for fares from 02 January 2009 – 16 May 2009. This is an updated version of the original, previously released on the old ticket collector blog.
This program contains updated National Rail ticket prices, including season tickets, which otherwise are difficult to calculate on the National Rail site. It also allows you to avoid calling National Rail Enquires every time you need fares information.

Please check back here for forthcoming regular updates.
The link to download doesn’t work, could you put it on a different site?

Thanks, excellent program!
In the past one could also download copies of the associated documents for free (anything but Sections B and C, whose place Avantix Traveller fills), but it seems that ATOC are beeing stingy and now access to online copies of said documents (such as ‘The Manual’) are now restricted to ATOC travel agents and the like with login via frpp.tso.co.uk required.
I notice you have the links to Newsrail Express as soon as each issue is published so thank you (again login via frpp.tso.co.uk would otherwise be required), and I would like to know if you also have the links to ‘The Manual’ as well. If not, is it worth contacting ATOC?
The rest of “The Manual” is not in PDF format anymore and is currently password protected.
If you are thinking of contacting ATOC on ticketing issues, they will not give you access to The Manual, as to them, it is an internal railway publication rather than a reference tool for the public. They also actively refuse to answer what they call “hypothetical” questions on ticketing, usually requiring you to of been affected by an issue, before they will comment on it.
In what format is ‘The Manual’ ?
Hi there
Will you be putting the new edition on here when you get it?
Thanks!
